Master in Hospitality Administration Degree Program

The Master in Hospitality Administration degree program is an online degree opportunity for professionals in the hospitality industry. The degree allows one to live anywhere in the world, work, and travel and still receive a master’s degree from an accredited, internationally renowned university.

Technical Requirements

Students are required to have access to a PC or Mac computer and access to the internet at all times during the duration of the course. A Chromebook will not work for our online program. All online courses are delivered through Canvas Learning Management System. For more information on how to use and navigate Canvas, please review the Canvas Student Guide. For proctored quizzes and exams, students must download Lockdown browser, which is the approved software at UNLV. Professors will notify students in their course syllabus if this software is required for the course. Some courses may required certain software packages to be downloaded, which will also be outlined in the course syllabus.

Course Information

Students are encouraged to utilize the Hospitality Graduate Student Library Resources when working on their professional paper. Lateka Grays is located right in Hospitality Hall, room 251. Once you have your topic approved and need help located research materials, just email her.

Course Add/Drop Information

Since MHA courses are 8-week courses, the window for dropping and adding courses without a financial penalty is very tight. The Friday before classes begin is the last day to register and pay for a course or drop a course without a penalty.  Please pay attention to the dates within My.UNLV for each course.
